Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham takes players on an incredible cosmic journey across the DC Universe with an expansive roster of heroes and villains. For players looking to fast track their progress or unlock rare characters, utilizing built-in cheat codes offers an excellent option on the PS4. These developer-approved inputs allow you to instantly expand your team and access unique gameplay enhancements without the standard grind.
How to Enter Cheat Codes in Lego Batman 3
Activating secrets in this intergalactic adventure is straightforward and can be done from two distinct locations within the game. Players can simply pause the action at any time and select the Extras option from the main menu to find the code entry terminal. Alternatively, you can visit the interactive terminal located inside the central hub areas like the Batcave or the Watchtower.
Once you access the correct input screen, a grid of characters will appear allowing you to type in specific alphanumeric combinations. Correctly entering a valid code instantly triggers an on-screen confirmation showing your newly unlocked character or passive bonus tool. It is important to remember that while these bonuses save to your profile, certain automated multipliers might need to be toggled back on during subsequent sessions.
Unlocking Iconic DC Characters Instantly
The vast character selection screen can take dozens of hours to naturally complete through standard story progression and hidden gold brick hunts. By using targeted character codes, popular figures such as Nightwing, Aquaman, and Kevin Smith can join your free-play roster immediately. This lets you access specialized character abilities early, making backtracking through completed missions much more efficient.
Unlocking specialized villains like Deathstroke or the Riddler also adds great variety to your local cooperative gaming sessions. Every character brought into the game via this method functions exactly like their naturally unlocked counterparts with full standard animations. Having access to these diverse powers early on simplifies the process of hunting down elusive minikits hidden across various planets.
Activating Powerful Gameplay Extras and Multipliers
Beyond expanding your character roster, inputting codes unlocks game-changing modifications that alter standard environmental rules and reward structures. Popular options include festive festive hats, relative invincibility elements, and highly sought-after stud multipliers that maximize your in-game currency collection rate. These modifiers transform the pace of exploration, turning standard combat encounters into chaotic and hilarious spectacles.
Using resource multipliers ensures you can easily afford the premium vehicle upgrades and gold brick rewards found within the planetary hubs. These active cheats do not disable your ability to earn standard PlayStation trophies, making them incredibly safe to use for completionists. They simply provide a customizable layer of fun that caters to both casual families and hardcore DC fans alike.
